Our Goal: to distribute this Newsletter periodically in order to continue telling our story to those who share our passion for all young people's welfare. We want you to be informed about our activities and to know and share the success stories of our youth.
10 Year Anniversary Celebration
Ever Change Academy's celebration of its 10 Year Anniversary, Changing Lives, was a wonderful evening. Academy residents presented the colors and performed an interpretive dance. Both were warmly received, bringing a standing ovation from the audience of over 200. Dan Ytuarte, Executive Director, moderated the evening's ceremony which included testimonials from past residents, one of whom was Natasha Tschaenn. All spoke of their life changing experiences with Ever Change. Other highlights of the evening were the lovely singing voice of Savanna Rojas, the Silent Auction, with items provided by many generous donors, as well as the Meet & Greet segment including delicious food provided by Dunlay Café. All in all, a very blessed evening was shared by everyone!
In the past 10 years we have seen hundreds of youth come to Hondo, Texas via Ever Change Academy. These youth arrive from all over the State of Texas scared, angry and just not wanting to be here. What seems to be eternity to them is really only a minute of time as we see the miraculous transformation take place. A life which seemed worthless to them and others now has value and purpose. In many cases, tears are shed at graduation because they are leaving the first place where they have experienced true love.

We Reached Our Goal
All new residents arrive with only the clothes on their backs. We outfit each one with uniforms, sleepwear, underwear, boots, socks, bedding, towels, wash cloths, shower shoes, and school supplies. These are by no means the most important things we supply but they do have a cost. The average cost per child is $237.00. The cost of each child's complete care per month is $2,160.00.
